Why Accredited EFT Training

Why Accredited EFT Training?

So here's the shocker. Everyone thinks that getting accredited EFT training is for THEM - the clients, the employers, the public.

But the truth?  Accredited EFT training is for YOU, the practitioner.

WHY?

Because you are the one in the seat with clients.

You are the one who bears the responsibility of helping your client get well (when no one else has been able to).

You are the one who has to sleep at night knowing that you brought everything you could to help your client improve their life.

In short, accredited EFT training gives you PEACE OF MIND because YOU KNOW that you have the highest quality EFT Training that you can possibly have. Not a hybrid. Not mini course. Not a shortcut. The real deal. The kind of training that takes you from being a novice to being a professional. The kind of training that GETS RESULTS and changes people's lives (including your own).

Credibility Matters, But It's NOT the Point

Yes, Accredited EFT training assures everyone else that you are properly trained. And you get the recognition that you deserve for your expertise. This matters, especially because EFT is a non-regulated practice. ANYONE can watch a few videos and hang up a shingle as an "EFT practitioner."

But getting the recognition and the credibility that comes with accredited EFT Training is only a small part of it.
The REAL REASON you would choose accredited EFT training is because you know that it matters. It is how you show up in the world. It is how you show up as a person and as a practitioner. Are you someone who takes shortcuts and relies on a few tapping points and a few setup phrases for your clients? Or are you someone who has done the work to truly know how to get lasting, life-transforming results?
Because really becoming a professional EFT practitioner takes some grit. It's not a 20-minute video on YouTube or a few modules on Udemy or tapping along with the Tapping Solution. It takes accredited, professional training to embody your skillset so that you know, in the moment, which techniques to use, when to "go in", when to step back, how to circle around an issue to avoid retraumatization, and still get to the core issue when the time is right.

The Big Misperception

Many people come into EFT training with the misperception that this is a "fun little protocol." When in reality EFT is the most powerful tool currently known to mankind for healing emotional trauma. This is not just a way to "tap for $50,000". And it's not a toy.

In the right hands, you will have the singular most powerful tool on the planet for helping people with lingering grief, childhood trauma, sexual trauma, chronic stress, relationship problems, and a wide variety of life's misfires.

Without EFT, most of these people will never recover. No matter how many pills they take or how many counseling sessions they sit through.

But if they sit down with YOU as a TRUE PROFESSIONAL EFT PRACTITIONER, they will be changed. Forever. Issues that would have plagued them for a lifetime are going to feel like distant memories. And that is because YOU did the work to become great at what you do. YOU are not just trained, you are TRUSTWORTHY. And when YOU say, "I am a professional EFT practitioner," it means something.

So Why AEFTP Accreditation?

At the Center for EFT Studies, we have chosen the Association of EFT Professionals (AEFTP) as our accrediting body.

Why does that matter?

In the world of EFT certification, only 3 accrediting bodies carry any real weight: AEFTP, EFT International, and ACEP. If someone claims accreditation through any other body, run. Because it is meaningless.

These three accrediting bodies have done the work to ensure that the training you are getting actually meets internationally recognized standards. Anything else is a band-aid of pretend credibility that will fall apart under any scrutiny. And more importantly, it will not guarantee that your investment in professional training will get you truly professional EFT training.

We, personally, chose AEFTP because, while it guarantees quality training, it is not a lifelong noose around your neck. With other accrediting bodies, you are required to complete annual continuing education credits. On one hand, that can be seen as good because it forces you to keep your training up to date. On the other hand, THEY are now deciding what training you need, when YOU are the true arbiter of your life.

At AEFTP and the Center for EFT Studies, we have the philosophy that says YOU are a sovereign being and only YOU know what additional training you are drawn to and what you need. We don't need to, or want to, force you into a trajectory that is not uniquely you.

It also removes all of the unnecessary stress that comes with even MORE requirements that you have to meet each and every year in order to "be approved." Instead, your certification is for life. You aren't going to do all of this work and then worry that your certificate will now be invalidated. It is now part of you, and it is yours forever.

You then choose whether or not you want to maintain your accredited status by simply remaining a member of the Association of EFT Professionals. Your agency is fully in your hands.

Advantages of AEFTP Accreditation

AEFTP accreditation has several benefits:

  • No need for constant continuing education to maintain status
  • Credibility and visibility through a searchable directory of certified practitioners
  • Flexibility to continue growing your skills naturally through client work
